Buying (or selling) homes using Owner Financing is not magical. It is also not a "new gimmick". Buying homes Owner Financed (or Seller Financed) has been around since promissory notes and mortgages were originated. However, there are MANY misconceptions people have regarding it. First and foremost, I am SOOOO tired of hearing the words "that can't be done", or "the seller's will NEVER go for that offer", or "the opportunities are few and far between".
The people who usually say those phrases have never bought a home owner financed. To them...yes, it may be impossible, but you can only achieve WHAT YOU BELIEVE. If you believe a seller of a property may never "go for your offer", then guess what, they probably won't. Worse yet, you probably will never make the offer.
